AbstractsOn Friday, we noted that authors who were using the browser Internet Explorer to submit abstracts to the SCCT website were experiencing site freezing and technical difficulties. In light of this, we would like to extend the abstract deadline to Tuesday, April 10, 11:59 pm. Authors who are accessing the site through an Internet Explorer browser will need to make sure that the browser is in compatibility mode, or they can switch to another browser like Firefox. Switching to another browser should eliminate abstract submission issues. Authors can also contact SCCT for step by step instructions on how to switch their IE browsers into compatibility mode. Abstract submissions open on December 1, 2011 for SCCT's 7th Annual Scientific Meeting July 19-22, 2012 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, in Baltimore, Maryland. Submit your research to be considered for oral or poster presentation, with posters displayed prominently within the SCCT Exhibit Hall for ideal viewing opportunities, and with dedicated presentation times that allow authors to engage in Q&A discussion with both peers and expert moderators. All accepted abstracts will be included within the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (JCCT) 2012 Abstract Supplement, published concurrently with the July issue of the JCCT.
