Orlando, FL
July 17-20, 2008

Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Third Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography which will be held in Orlando, FL from July 17-20, 2008. The Annual Meeting will be immediately preceded by the 1st Cardiovascular CT Board Review Course.

In the past two years, close to 1000 clinicians, scientists, and other professionals with an interest in cardiovascular CT imaging attended the SCCT Annual Meetings and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Similar to the successful previous meetings, the program will make certain that both clinical applications and new scientific developments will be extensively covered during the conference. The program has been further expanded and will offer a coherent, informative, and complete overview of the current status of clinical applications, science, and technology in cardiovascular CT. New technology will be extensively covered and potential clinical applications will be thoroughly discussed. For attendees new to the field, for those who are already experienced users of cardiac CT imaging and for those who are primarily interested in scientific applications, there will be ample content and opportunity for learning and exchanging thoughts, experiences and ideas with fellow attendees and international experts. Extensive case presentations, hands-on workstation experience and videotaped live scan demonstrations will complement the educational experience. The faculty has been carefully selected and includes the international top experts in cardiovascular CT.

Walt Disney World Swan Resort, in Orlando, offers generous meeting space and all amenities to provide for an enjoyable stay.

Please consider both the Cardiovascular Board Review Course and the 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting of SCCT in order to stay current with the most recent developments in cardiac CT or to learn all the basics necessary to enter this exciting field. Make your plans to attend one or both of the meetings early and spread the word - these conferences will certainly be the highlight of the year in cardiac CT.
