Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT) Announces Dates for 2012 Exam
The CBCCT Board has announced that the 2012 certification exam in cardiovascular computed tomography will be held on Wednesday, September 19th and Thursday, September 20th 2012. The exams will be offered at Prometric testing centers around the world.
New this year! Beginning this year candidates will be able to apply online through the CBCCT website as well as by mail. The regular registration deadline is May 1st (fee $950) and the late deadline is June 15th ($1150). A “13th Hour” past-the-deadline deadline of July 31 is also an option for those who missed earlier dates (the fee is commensurate with the lateness so it pays to be prepared). Current fellows and residents are eligible for a significant discount and those who certify in both cardiovascular CT and nuclear cardiology can also realize some savings. Registration to sit for the 2012 exam will open on March 15, 2012.
Why certify? Because certification matters – referring physicians look for this credential; patients expect it; and employers hire based on it. CBCCT certification validates expertise, knowledge and mastery in the field of cardiovascular CT. As a certified physician you can be confident that your skills have met the benchmark of quality and demonstrate your commitment to providing first-rate healthcare.
