PLC provided a comprehensive but intensive course on the utility and interpretation of Cardiac CTA. The instructors were knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. The cases were live patients studied while we were at the site as well as a selected group of cases to provide a learning value. It focused on coronary disease but also touched on other anatomical diseases and variants. The CTA was put into clinical context in most cases. The course was professionally run. |

Fantastic course in all aspects. Dr. Rumberger is a pioneer in the field and his course is an excellent educational experience. I have attended other courses and found this one to be head and shoulders above the rest. Efficiently organized, expertly taught. I just completed the course this past weekend and came back and read a heavy load of studies- felt completely comfortable with my level of experience after completing the course. Had my studies blindly overviewed by one of our cardiac imaging specialists who completely concurred with my reads. |

This was an absolutely fantastic course. I couldn't have been more pleased. I wasn't an absolute novice in regards to cardiac CT, with no knowledge or insight into processing or with working with the workstation. In fact I had a pretty good anxiety level about working with a CTA workstation that first time. However the anxiety level was quickly abated thanks to the expert mentorship of Drs. Rumberger and Fein. Now I have confidence in both working with the workstation and interpreting the images that are provided. |

Very intensive course with lots of hands on experience. Excellent teachers with lots of clinical correlation. Good review of the physics involved with image acquisition.
I felt that the only weaknesses were the lack of training regarding extra cardiac manifestations and would have liked to seen more of these and the inability to review a scan in its entire form sometimes. I also would have liked to learn more about image acquisition and the removal of artifacts.
Overall excellent course. I am also considering level 3 from the same institution. |

Drs. Rumberger and Fein did a stellar job of teaching how to interpret CTA scans in a conservative fashion. Dr. Rumberger is a founder of this field of imaging and it is humbling to be in the presence of such a thought leader in medicine, albeit one who has been treated badly by the medical political leadership for being a brilliant pioneer. Both Drs. Rumberger and Fein provide excellent hands on individualized teaching and deal with all questions with respect. They are simply great teachers who all the time display a keen sense of history and humor that make the long hours fly by. The support staff is accomodating and expertly handles all details well to make your stay in the Princeton area go well. Don't believe what you hear from competitors who say that sharing a TeraRECON workstation with a colleague cuts down on the learning experience. To the contrary, it enhances the learning experience. You learn from each other. This is a true collaborative learning experience. There is no wasted time. The trainees are saturated with cases and lectures even during lunch. This is learning by immersion that this group has down pat. This is one of the best learning experiences I have ever attended. Great value for the money spent. |

Two people per work station was ideal as we both learned things from each other. A 3 1/2 day course is clearly enough time to learn CTA. I highly recommend this course to others. |

Due to very creative scheduling of the patients this was accomplished as advertised. This is an excellent course. It fulfilled all my needs to be a level II independent interpreter of coronary CTAs. Dr. Rumberger and Dr. Fein have put together a well-rounded course to take you from a novice level to a competent reader. All the didactics and case study were well organized. We saw a wide variety of cases including CABG, stents, non-obstructive and obstructive disease. Also special emphasis was put on noncoronary and noncardiac structures. They also make sure that the trainees are well aware of the limitations of the CTAs. I had a very good experience and I will recommend this to anyone. |

Fullfilled all my needs of learning a brand new field from a novice to a competent level and exceeded all my expectations of didactic learning, hands-on experience on Tera Reacon work-station and all logistic arrangements. No minor detail was over-looked and both speakers are a pleasure to listen to. Excellent course! Even if you do not have any significant knowledge about CCTA this course quickly teaches you from the fundamentals of physics to live cases and cases including CABG, stents, artifacts etc. Also extra cardiac structures discussed as well. Very good teaching and mentors receptive to questions etc. I did not have any knowledge prior to this course and after more than 150 cases I feel a lot more comfortable. The fact that you do not have to take a week or a week and a half for level II is a major bonus. Very nice staff as well. |
