Comment: Excellent course. Well organised, good workstation set-up and systematic approach. Broad spectrum of cases with correlation to other imaging and cardiac test results including cath images. The instructors are passionate and knowledgable, and always available. Good interaction with instructors, technical and other medical staff, also involved in consultation of patients. One significant advantage I've found is there is access 24/7 to the workstations afterhours to review the cases.

Comment: As a radiologist practicing in a rural setting who is starting a cardiac CT service, I found this learning activity to be totally incredible! The in-depth exposure to real-world clinical cardiology decision making was particularly helpful to a non-cardiologist. As I mentioned to Dr. Karlsberg, I attend a lot of CME and this is without exception the best experience I have had in my 35 year medical career. I do not hesitate to recommed this course to anyone wishing to learn cardiac ct.
05/14/2010
Comment: An excellent course that provided the highest quality teachers, computer facilities, clinical and library case load, clinical correlation, support staff and experience; to facilitate competence in CCTA performance. I would strongly recommend this course without hesitation.
05/14/2010
Comment: Excellent course for Level II training. I am a cardiologist in private practice and left feeling comfortable with reading coronary CTs. Dr. Karlsberg and Dr. Budoff provide wealth of experience in interpreting CTs and help ease the shock of learning all the technical aspects of imaging and workstations. Lectures are provided to go over the technical, financial and political aspects of CT imaging.

10/30/2009
Comment: This was the course that I didn't realize I needed. I learned so much about the heart, about imaging, and about coronary disease with this course. What I can say now, is that I wish this knowledge were part of my formal training. I have a much more sophisticated understanding of the role of this technology, and I feel ready to start being involved in the acquisition interpretation of studies at my own facility with another physician. The equipment, technical setup, environment, and technical support were excellent.
10/30/2009
Comment: good clinical library of teaching cases and informative faculty teaching both the clinical and technical aspects. Also, referral, acquisition and interpretation discussions about this technology and how this correlates with other cardiac imaging modalities in the management of patients.
10/30/2009

09/25/2009
Comment: Excellent course. Great experience. Really liked the variety of teaching models and the diversity of styles. Each teacher had a preferred modality in approaching a study and showed us pro and cons of the modalities. All teachers had a great kwnoledge of cardiac ct and was very approachable at all times. Great variety and number of cases. Complete course.
08/28/2009
Comment: This was a LEVEL 3 course for me. Simply superb no comparison. I've been to 2 other level 2 courses. Wish i had gone to this one. The approach to analysis is of real cases, simple to complex, regular to exotic/congenital, cardiac to vascular and even EP/cardiac venous. The library is attached to cath cases and clinical notes, comparisons to other modalities expected & routine. the buttonology is phenomenal, They pride on being "technology agnostic" different viewing approaches to cases is encouraged. Different staff discuss how they would approach the diff cases, the supporting staff are more than helpful. We were fed the entire day, given 4 cds of literature, we could use the lab 24hrs. the class had <6 people as a rule, each person had a station. Simply the best value for money.
08/28/2009
Comment: This is an outstanding opportunity to learn cardiac CT from several masters in the field that practice high-volume cardiology. Learn everything from basic CTA reading skills to complex congenital heart disease, and have a unique opportunity to see live cases with a chance to talk to those patients and ask questions before reading the images. In one unique case, had the opportunity to see a very unique/interesting and complex live case and see the f/u coronary angiogram and intervention to correlate the following day, as was clinically indicated. Highly recommended course!
08/28/2009
Comment: Excellent course with multiple teachers who are leaders/pioneers in the field of CCTA. Course offers great one on one time with these teachers to help master reading/interpretating data. Excellent volume of cases (unlimited volume) and variety of cases. Course has an excellent variety of cases with extensive clinical/cath/nuc/echo/etc correlation with each case - adds to overall understanding of how to utilize CCTA in everyday clinical practice.

Comment: Wonderful course. Great instructors with a vast knowledge base. Staff are very helpful and approachable. Highly recommended
06/05/2009
Comment: The course overall is very impressive. It is taught by practicioners that implement the modality into their daily practice and this adds an additional level of education for course attendees, especially for clinical cardiologists. I am a fellow at UCLA and plan to implement what I've learned both in my clinical practice, as well as for clinical research.
06/05/2009
Comment: This course has been an exceptional introduction to the field of CCTA, and has contributed remarkably to my fund of knowlege and appreciation for the exciting and robust imaging modality. As a clinical cardiologist, echocardiologist and angiographer, I arrived with preconceptions about this technology and it's role in my practice. Having completed the week, i can wholeheartedly endorse a new appreciation for what is clearly a robust, "prime time" tool in cardiac diagnosis. Moving forward, i can unequivocally say that CCTA will play a major role in my future practice in cardiovascular medicine.
06/05/2009
Comment: The level II course was excellent so I came back for level III. I am a radiologist and read a huge volume of ER cases and I think this would benefit any radiologist. The staff are wonderful and extemely expereince /great teachers. The support staff are fantastic. AND the locations is delightful if you want to bring your spouse and kids (you will need to take out a second mortgage to shop however). Lots of outstanding restaurants too.
06/05/2009
Comment: Excellent course - Drs. Karlsberg and Budoff have a broad knowledge base and an effective means of conveying their knowledge to the trainees.
05/15/2009

05/15/2009
Comment: My Level I taining was excellent. The staff here was very patient and they even taylored the Level I course so I could take it in conjunction (a few days before the Level II course). By far probably the best CT training one could possibly get.
05/15/2009
Comment: Excellent course. It helped me accomplish my goals to get comfortable in interpreting cardiac CT and gave me the necessary credentials. The cases were instructive and interesting. The instructors worked hard to maintain clinical relevance and utility. CT studies were frequently correlated with clinical histories and with other imaging data. Clinical applications of imaging information and implications for medical decision making were enlightening. The learning environment was comfortable and pleasant. The instructors all were attentive and responsive to questions and discussion. Dr. Karlsberg really went the extra mile to make sure that I had a worthwhile learning experience. I can't think of any way that the course could be made any better.
05/15/2009
Comment: On behalf of fellows at my institution, I researched many CTA courses available and found that this particular course allows the most flexibility, individualized training program with extensive workstation time and instructor availability. After completing the course, my findings were confirmed and the course exceeded my expectations. I will certainly continue to speak highly of CVMG's course and recommend it to all incoming fellows at my institution.
05/15/2009
Comment: very good course i recomend it to every body
04/17/2009
Comment: This is a fabulous cardiac CT course. The library is extensive and very diverse and there were plenty of live cases, but the thing that made this course stand out for me was the quality of the faculty. They each had a unique style of interpreting CT's, they all spent considerable amount of one-on-one time with us to ensure that we were able to keep up to speed, and they were just friendly people in general. The support staff was also just as helpful and friendly. I would easily recommend this course to anyone interested in learning how to interpret cardiac CT scans.
04/17/2009
Comment: Outstanding course with world class instructors who provide evidence based teaching while being able to bring everything back to the "bedside".
04/17/2009
Comment: Excellent course. I am very satisfied with the instruction. I feel very comfortable with the GE software and analysis of coronary CTA. Dr. Karlsberg reviwed all of the techniques for coronary analysis in his course, and from a Radiologist point of view it was very helpful. I enjoyed the one-on-one attention.
03/07/2009
Comment: Pathology, pathology, pathology…first there was the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) radiology- pathology correlations, now there is Dr. Karlsberg’s Cutting Edge Cardiac CT with the Pioneers. This represents a place to learn, understand, and obtain knowledge of cardiac imaging in all its facets, CT and beyond. The depth and breadth of teaching and extensive database with access to associated modalities, i.e. cardiac catherizations, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine correlative examinations allows for a complete experience. This center should be on everyone’s list of courses to take.
03/06/2009
Comment: Loved the self-paced structure with plenty of support at all times. With one person per workstation, I was able to move through tons of cases and focus on the things that I needed to work on the most. Having the electonic medical records available for each case was invaluable, and I was very impressed with the amount of correltive cath, echo, and nuclear imaging. Great course- I feel confident returning home and reading on my own.
03/06/2009
Comment: I am board certified in radiology and neuroradiology and read a huge volume of cases and found this course a great benefit to my practice. The lectures were by experts in their field and make complex topics like congental heart disease easy to learn and retain. The stafff were extremely helpful and very accomodating. The accomodations, restaurants, and shopping on Rodeo Drive also make bringing a spouse an added plus. I will be back again.
03/06/2009
Comment: I am a thoracic radiologist with a particular interest in cardiac imaging. I will be working in the cardiothoracic division at a large academic medical center. I really found this course helpful in developing an approach to reading cardiac CTA exams. Dr. Karlsberg is an excellent instructor, and he has an outstanding database of cases spanning the full range of cardiac disease. The GE software, though somewhat more difficult to learn compared to some of the other available software, is extremely powerful and robust. It was very nice to have a variety of instructors to see different approaches to using the software and getting through cases.
02/19/2009
Comment: Excellent course. Rare that such an intensive course is both very informative as well as, frankly, a great deal of fun. Looking forward to applying all the information presented. Well paced, and very directed to everyday practice. Great emphasis on problem solving and how to use different processing techniques to get to the answer. Highest recommendation!
02/19/2009

08/29/2008
Comment: Excellent course with knowledgeable proctors, wide-ranging case library and advanced analysis software. Steady stream of live cases and ability to discuss technical and interpretation details with technician as well as reporting cardiologist.
08/29/2008
Comment: This course was a superb introduction of cardiac CT for me. With limited exposure to CT in fellowship, I attended the Level II training course; in one week, I now feel very confident in reading cardiac CTs, manipulating images, and using the many tools offered on GE workstations. Furthermore, we reviewed cases of all kinds of cardiovascular pathology, including multiple cases of congenital heart disease. It would take years of experience to come across some of the cases we were able to see this week. This class was instructive not only in CT, but also for a better understanding of invasive angiography and cardiology in general. I would strongly recommend this course to anyone interested in cardiac imaging, particularly because of the unique opportunity to have your own workstation and gain hands-on experience in reviewing a library of excellent teaching cases with clinical correlation.
08/29/2008
Comment: Great course with excellent in-depth review and good clinical correlation. One-on-one case reviews with personal attention to each attendee. Dr Budoff has excellent grasp of the subject.
08/29/2008
Comment: Solid instructors with a wealth of knowledge. One-to-one workstations a plus.
08/01/2008
Comment: I am a Radiologist/Nuclear physician and supervisor of training at a teaching hospital from Melbourne Australia. I had done my level II course with CVMG last year and had found it extremely useful. It provides 24/7 access to over 400 cases on a GE workstation with cath correlations on many, great computer/technical support, live interactive patient consults on a few A1 cases, comprehensive coverage of pathology and software applications. Excellent instructors with differing software preferences exposing the attendees to varying approaches. Free flow of coffee and food without Lipitor!
08/01/2008
Comment: Simply the best collection of CTA experts one could put together for a course: Drs. Karlsberg, Berman, Budoff, Thompson, Friedman. They have an extensive library of cases and what was very interesting is they had many of the patients who had their scan come to the workstation room to have their study read in the presence of attendees. This allowed attendees to see the personal impact it has on patients having the scan and the clinical impact as well. Usually about 5 live cases per day and many studies with cath correlation so you can test yourself.
08/01/2008
Comment: This is an excellent course of cardiac CT. It is very helpful for my work of research in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. I have read more than 150 cases and some of them correlated with ICA. I am more confident to read CCTA cases independently. Dr. Karlsberg and other teacher doctors made big effort to give us a high quality course.
08/01/2008
Comment: Best course I have ever done, the faculty are all pioneers in the field of CTA with extensive experience. The course itself is hands on, with almost 500 cases to choose from coronaries, bypass grafts and stent analysis to structural heart diseases including congential heart diseases. Truly, one stop to learn all you need to learn about CTA given the constraint of time. You will be confident and self reliant in reading, the faculty is always there to discuss even after the course.
08/01/2008
Comment: I am a practicing cardiologist and did my level III training. This is a fantastic course. It is intense and all hands on experience with individual work station. Live interaction with patients and clinical correlation was very helpful. Faculty is excellent, multiple faculties gives different perspective and reading techniques. Dr. Karsberg and other faculty members spend an extended amount of time to individually help each candidate. I feel much more confident reading Cardiac CT after the course.

Comment: Fantastic course
06/20/2008
Comment: I took this course in anticipation of my institution purchasing a cardiac CT unit. My background is as an academic interventional cardiologist at a major university. The course was very intensive, with many hours each day in front of a workstation. The instruction was superb, as were the case mix. Outstanding group of instructors, headed up by Dr. Ron Karlsberg. Despite all the work, the course was very enjoyable. I came into the course with only minimal knowledge in the interpretation of cardiac CT, but feel very comfortable with my abilities after this week. I would give this course my strongest recommendation.

05/16/2008
Comment: This is an excellent course. I am a interventional cardiologist and my group has just bought a 64 slice. I am a beginner in cardiac CT but Dr Carlsberg and his team did an outstanding job of hands on instruction with great clinical on the spot co-relation. I doubt there ia a better course anywhere else.
05/16/2008
Comment: UK Radiologist with some cardiac CT experience says - Dr Karlsberg is awesome! Intensive course allows reading of 150+ cases under supervison, giving great confidence in interpretation. One workstation per reader is invaluable. Small workgroup builds a good atmosphere. The obvious wealth of experience at CVMG allows for authorative teaching and yet case discussion at numerous levels includes every individuals opinion and practice. Don't expect to see much of LA! Go Dr Karlsberg!
05/16/2008

03/07/2008
Comment: I am a professor of Cardiology at the University of Utah and director of our fellowship program. I found this course to be outstanding. One student/workstation. Many high quality cases with cath correlations. Lot's of one-on-one teaching from the instructors who were all extremely knowledgeable, passionate and patient. I was relatively comfortable interpreting CTA's prior to the course, but now my level of confidence has increased another notch. I feel like I really do have level III skills now. Many cases with grafts, stents, calcium, etc make it easier to know how to deal with these. The location was great. Superb weather. An amazing health club just down the street. It was a working vacation. Highly recommended. Feel free to contact me.
03/07/2008
Comment: This was an excellent course. I started with virtually no cardiac CT experience and now within a week feel confident to interpret most studies and recognise my limitations. This course was worth every cent!
03/07/2008

02/08/2008
Comment: Best course I hve attended for the the last 20 years, it is an eye opener for me about the technology, and the course helps me to fully utilize this method of imaging and its indications. Dr. Karlsberg is a wonderful and most dedicated instructor.
02/08/2008
Comment: Overall an outstanding and remarkably helpful course. This course proves that from a standing start one can be taught CTA skills in a patient, stepwise fashion, slowly building a knowledge base piece by piece. The instructors are excellent. They make themselves available for individual tutoring, are patient with beginners, and are receptive to queries. The facilities are well thought out and, more importantly, give each individual enough room to spread out the materials. I would recommend this course to any cardiologist interested in this field and do so enthusiastically and without reservation.
02/08/2008
Comment: Best CTA course that I have trained with - hands on experiece. There are many training sites in my own practice area but this course was far superior to all training I have received. I will highly recommend this course to my partners and the fellows in my program.
02/08/2008

01/18/2008
Comment: I am an interventional cardiologist in Winnipeg Canada. Fantastic course, very energetic teaching and mentoring. Dr. Karlsberg stayed after hours each night to go through cases, he even came in one day early to allow me to do an extra day of buttonology. Excellent range of cases, intense days, lots of learning, tons of hands on experience with the workstation. Dr. Budoff gave CT pearls (very useful) and Dr. Thompson (superb teacher) showed the basics of CT and lectures which were excellent. Dr. Karlsberg is a fantastic mentor and superb teacher, great role model. Lots of support staff and techs for training and help. I have completed level 2 elsewhere and came here for level 3 and this was the top notch experience. Extremely highly recommended course for learning the art and science of cardiac CT. 10/10 rating for sure!!!
01/18/2008
Comment: Excellent course. I would recomend it to everyone.
01/18/2008
Comment: An outstanding course for those wishing to learn Cardiac CT as quickly as possible. As a non-invasive cardiologist with certification in echocardiography I found that the improved understanding of anatomy that comes with CT training has further improved my echo interpretive skills.
01/18/2008
Comment: An incredible experience. This is the perfect mix of real world practicality and academic vigor. The hands on experience was unlimited. There were live and library cases. There were unlimited opportunities for cath, nuc and echo correlation. I would recommend this course very strongly to anyone - cardiologist or radiologist.
01/18/2008
Comment: I think this course may help organize your knowledge about CTA.
01/18/2008
Comment: An excellent course which gives a sound platform to perform and report cardiac MDCT. Dr Karlsberg and his support staff were always willing to teach, answer questions and share their extensive knowledge of the discipline.
12/07/2007
Comment: This was an excellent experience in learning how to progress through an examination, especially in using workstation tools to analyze cases. Very good experience in seeing live cases.
12/07/2007
Comment: Excellent cases with great cardiac cath correlation.
12/07/2007
Comment: Excellent course, teachers, learning material, live cases
12/07/2007
Comment: Great course! Unmatched ability to correlate findings at CTA with clinical presentation and findings on objective tests including stress perfusion studies and cardiac catheterization. Excellent mix of instructors who all have unique strengths. Technical support by IT staff kept us humming along.
12/07/2007
Comment: Although my first experience with this technology, I would struggle to imagine a better course, better instructors or better pathology to learn from. I could not ask for a better experience.
12/07/2007
Comment: For me, as an unexperienced person in cardiac CT Angiography, this opportunity in joining this course will absolutely make up my perspective of mind in performing & interpretating cardiac CT as well. I do hope I can join this course later
12/07/2007
Comment: Outstanding course. Exceptional faculty with outstanding facilities. The IT support staff, the scanning technologists and the admin support staff are all friendly, eager and able to help. I teach non-invasive imaging to cardiology trainees at a major university. The integation of CTA with clinical infromation and the discussion of management strategies is marvellous. The must be the best course in the world.
10/29/2007
Comment: Levels II and III are the best courses I have ever attended!! I am a diagnostic radiologist and Chief of CT at a major academic center. The courses superbly address the needs and backgrounds of all the attendees simultaneously (cardiologists and radiologists). These are genuine, hands on apprenticeships in Cardiac CT, not "cram sessions" offered to fulfill accreditation requirements. One leaves knowing how to acquire, postprocess, interpret and report on a variety of cases. The staff is experienced and helpful, the imaging quality is excellent, and the instruction/mentorship is unparalleled. You walk out really knowing what you came to learn!! I endorse these courses enthusiastically and without any reservation!
10/26/2007
Comment: Excellent course. Instructors are very involved. Wealth of experience and widely varying caseload. Great opportunity to get a cardiology perspective if you come from an imaging background.
10/26/2007
Comment: Excellent course - clinical/cath correlation superb. Highly recommended for radiologists (and cardiologists) wanting to gain experience and confidence in taking a clinically relevant approach to reviewing and reporting CCTA.
10/26/2007
Comment: Very intense and comprehensive course with detailed clinical correlation, a multitude of outstanding mentors and with impressive preparation in the theoretical foundation and for the practical application of this new technology.
10/26/2007
Comment: outstanding course.....great cases.....cases reviewed in depth.......teaching is excellent by faculty......very beneficial for radiologists for the cardiology perspective........CTs reviewed with other clinical data and imaging......highly recommended
10/26/2007
Comment: This course offers a very broad depth in cardiac CT from basic concepts to more advanced imaging. There is an extensive log of interesting cases. In addition, there is ample opportunity for viewing of "live" cases with techs and GE representatives present for learning of acquisition. Given the high volume, the staff and instructors are very knowledgeable. Lectures are generally incorperated during proctored cases. The clinical correlation with a easily navigable EMR system is particularly helpful. In addition, as a cardiology fellow, actual cath films and echos make for great comparative analysis. Individual work stations make this a fully hands on experience. For me specifically, a group of radiologists were present during the course which I considered a benefit simply because they bring an aspect to imaging from their perspective and technical knowledge of imaging an isolated group of cardiologists would not have neccesarily known or appreciated. Overall, I am very pleased and feel competent after the week.
10/26/2007
Comment: Excellent course. As a radiologist wanting to learn cardiology, this course exceeded my expectations. The course has hands on experience with the workstation and the ability to correlate with other cardiac imaging (echo, nuc med and cath) and clinical history.
10/26/2007
Comment: Excellent case correlation and records with CATH correlation and clinical follow-up!
10/05/2007
Comment: This is a very comprehensive course which provides a wide spectrum of pathology in cardiac imaging, each case chosen with specific teaching points. All cases have clinical correlation and follow-up. The electronic medical record system is excellent. Plently of cases with angiographic correlation. An intensive 6 day course which does add confidence at the end. Course instructors and facilitators are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
10/05/2007
Comment: The course provides an excellent educational experience with instruction from expert faculty. The cases covered explore a wide range of cardiac disease. I also appreciated the unlimited use of a personal work station with outstanding clinical/cath/myocardial perfusion imaging correlation readily available.
10/05/2007
Comment: Excellent course with highly experienced faculty, extensive individually proctored case reviews from a large library of cases with clinical and cath correlation. As a clinical cardiologist (noninvasive/imaging), this course has provided me with the skills I will need to evaluate operated and unoperated coronary arteries, diseases of the aorta and great vessels, and structural and functional diseases of the cardiac chambers with a high level of confidence. The course is extremely intensive and I am very impressed with the amount I have learned in only 1 week.
10/05/2007
Comment: I'm a Professor of Medicine in Cardiology at an academic medical center. This course was a superb experience. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable with extensive experience. The library files are extensive, of high quality and cover a wide range of pathology. Hands-on, individual instruction is a hallmark of the course. There is plenty of individual attention and opportunity to personally interact on the workstations and with the instructors. All cases have clinical and in most instances other imaging correlations. Upon completion, the learner has a good appreciation for the techniques of acquisition, interpretation, and manipulation of the studies. Overall, perhaps the best experience one can have for acquiring skill in cardiac CT.
10/05/2007
Comment: A superb course of practical instruction for clinical applications, which I highly recommend for the radiologist who wishes to receive a detailed cardiologist perspective. Case library is awesome and ranges from congenital/develpmental anomalies to bypass and stent cases of varying difficulty and beyond what I expected. A mixture of faculty and therefore software applications/approaches is much appreciated. There is a mixture of lectures with case interpretations, software applications, and live cases. Dr. Karlsberg's commitment is the highest and the intensity of the course is more than appropriate to endow the student with clinical confidence. Highly recommended.
09/21/2007
Comment: Exellent course. Each student had their own work station. Live cases were great teaching. Incredible teaching file. A broad depth of knowlege from many different teachers.. I went to three courses total. This was by far the best.
09/21/2007
Comment: This is an amazing course. With Level 2 training, I have been well enlightened. The hands-on experience and extensive teaching from experts were wonderful. I will recommend this course highly to my colleagues.
09/21/2007
Comment: I am having the level III course in CVMG, the training is beyond my expectations! I may say it is the best of the best around the country with all the experts in all the fields.
09/21/2007
Comment: Excellent course. It is great to have both Level I & II together, as it flows well The clinical correlation and value that I can take back to my patient community IS immensely great. This is THE best clinical course that I ever attended in my 24 years of practice, that kept me ALIVE througout the course for hours together, consistently. I am excited......this is changing the way we practice cardiology from now on....THANK YOU
09/21/2007
Comment: Completed level 1 and 2 courses in consecutive weeks during which time I was able to go through several hundred cardiac CT cases during this time on a AW workstation. The experience has been first-rate.
09/21/2007
Comment: Top rated experts who "really" spend time with the trainees and make the course enjoyable with lots of cases to read and interpret. Top notch course.
09/21/2007
Comment: This is the best conducted clinical training course that I have attended . This is not a weekend course and a certificate deal. Excellent training with dedicated individual work stations. We worked 12 hours a day integrating clinical data and learned a lot. I recommend this to any one who is interested in learning real material. Also doing level 1 & 2 together flows well. Thank you!
09/21/2007
Comment: One of the most rewarding experiences in my learning process. In seven days probably I witnessed the most rapid evolution since I was a fetus in my mother's womb. Probably this is what cardiologists were experiencing when Mason Sones developed a new image technology that would change the landscape for ever. About this course I have to appreciate the candid honesty of presenting the the utility of good cases as well as the frustrations and failures of bad cases along with the learning curve of a new technology. The spectrum of quality was certainly crucial in the development of confidence in newly acquired skills. I sincerely appreciate the religious dedication of Ron Karlsberg in the teaching and for anybody willing to match the intensity of this course with their own efforts I highly recommend this experience.
09/21/2007
Comment: As a radiologist wanting to learn essential cardiology, this course exceeded my expectations. The course is comprehensive and extremely well organized. Great instruction. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Instruction way beyond standard requirements with its extraordinary teaching staff and unbelievable facilities. Wonderful experience.
09/21/2007
Comment: Excellent course. I could have attended a local course in Houston for 3 days and get Level 1/2 certification, but the experience would definitely not be the same. Dr. Karlsberg is very dedicated, and is an excellent teacher. The teaching files are excellent. The ability to correlate with echo/nucs/cath is an indispensible and valuable tool.
09/14/2007
Comment: In my experience this is the best learning experience I have enjoyed in the past 20 years. Learned a lot which will be directly impacting my practice and the service to the community.
09/14/2007

08/17/2007
Comment: Excellent and simplified approach to cardiac CT reading. Detailed explanation and covered all aspects of cardiac CT scan reading. With the great advantage of small group discussion. Excellent teaching material with great concentration of practical cases. All the faculty are approachable.
08/17/2007
Comment: Although I expected a high quality course, my experience far exceeded my expectations. This has been the most exciting, the most stimulating and most most riveting learning experience I have had since I obtained my specialty qualifications 28 years ago. I look forward to attending further courses should they be offered.
08/03/2007
Comment: This is an outstanding course. The level 2 course is structured in an organized fashion. The participation of multiple instructors enabled the students to learn multiple techniques and approaches to the analysis of cardiac cases. As a radiologist, I found that the cardiac cath correlation and clinical correlation enhanced my understanding of the disease process and its management. I feel so much more comfortable interpreting cardiac ct than I thought possible at this stage. All instructors were excellent teachers and both interested and enthusiastic about teaching. I would highly recommend the course.
07/13/2007
Comment: Very intense course....lots of cases. Excellent teaching. Small group of students (6).
07/13/2007
Comment: Excellent course - met all my expectations. Would highly recommend.
07/13/2007
Comment: excellent course, intense but fascinating to read with experts.
07/13/2007
Comment: A high quality level ll course by excellent instructors that provides participants with a good working knowledge of CT angio. This is an intense learning experience which will allow you to confidently start independent interpretation of CT angio.
07/13/2007
Comment: Excellent course. Wide variety of cases and abnormalities with cath and echo correlation. Would have liked to have seen more live cases.
06/29/2007
Comment: Great course with more than enough clinical volume and library cases to provide not only the volume of work necessary for any level of certification but a wide variety of cardiac abnormalities to provide a very rounded experience. The faculty provide a variety of approaches to the problems to allow students to select what works for them and are all experienced with the applications and limitations of the imaging modality. Come prepared to work but leave with the confidence to approach coronary CTA.
06/29/2007
Comment: I am a Full Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at major academic / teaching/medical center. Specifically picked this course after considerable inquiry and research.

Exceeded all expectations. The enthusiasm and knowledge of the faculty, use of multiple instructors, extensive live and case files and breadth of course (CAD, valve, grafts, congenital and peripheral) were first-rate.

Highly doubtful there is a better course in country. Would recommend without qualification to anyone serious about learning CT angio technique.
06/29/2007
Comment: Detailed and extensive range of cases; Very helpful and interested teachers. Long days, intensive and tiring, but great.
06/29/2007
Comment: great course and faculty.
06/18/2007
Comment: Overall, an excellent course. Dr. Karlsberg makes a lot of effort to ensure everyone really learns CT. Very honest, clinical presentation of cardiac CT.
06/17/2007
Comment: Excellent follow-up course to the level 1 fellowship. Extensive library and exposure to CTA with hundreds of cases. Again Dr. Karlsberg and Dr. Budoff organized it well & were available all hours for questions (and afterhours also). There was an excellent diversification of instructors to allow the trainees different approaches. Well organized and thorough. The ancillary staff (technicians, etc) were all friendly, available and extremely helpful.
06/14/2007
Comment: This was an excellent course, I enjoyed and learned from a great deal. Most of the cases had cath correlation which helped our reading. Thank you
06/13/2007
Comment: Outstanding Level II course. Teaching by 4 expert reporters. Not confined to coronary artery disease - peripherals, carotids, renals and congenital heart disease dealt with. Superb library of cases with direct links to reports. Correlative angiograms available on a large number of patients which is the best way to learn. Daily "read with the experts" as live cases are reported. I did both Level I and II training at CVMG, reporting over 400 cases (in Australia) between these courses. Although reasonably experienced to begin with, the Level II course has taken my reporting to another level. All reporters at our site will now be required to do the Level II course at CVMG at my insistence. The course caters for any level of experience. Inexperienced Cardiologists and Radiologists in my group finished the week able to confidently report cases. I would highly recommend both Level I and Level II training at CVMG.
06/13/2007
Comment: Great cases and hands-on experience.
06/13/2007
Comment: Absolutely fantastic. Excellent faculty, excellent techs, and excellent facility. I have talked to other docs and none have had experiences this good. This course is super. It should be highlighted as one of the leading courses in the world.
06/13/2007
Comment: Excellent course which fulfilled expectations.
06/13/2007
Comment: Excellent course. A bit expensive, both for the course and to stay in S.Calif - but good instructors, excellent viewing stations and equipment, great follow up resource. Good daily testing volume and extensive archived test library. EMR access at each workstation allows easy access to pertinent data including echos and most cath angios for correlation. GE-equipment throughout.
06/11/2007
Comment: It was really appropriate and full of real examples, I learned a lot from the team - Drs. Karlsberg and Budoff were candid and frank, and they were right on the ball, especially when I started my program a month later. The course was well structured, with plenty of live cases and plenty of hands-on contact and interpretation. Dr. Karlsberg even stayed back on many evenings to help us out, which was really appreciated. Now that I have started on a cardiac CT program in my hospital, I can look back fondly at the good principles and basics that I obtained via this course!
06/11/2007
Comment: Excellent course
06/11/2007
Comment: This was the third multi-day hands-on course that I have attended, and it was by far the best. The instructors (especially Dr. Karlsberg) were very interested in sharing their expertise with us and frankly went above and beyond to make certain we received the proper training. The attention to detail and the extra time spent with us was exceptional. I would highly recommend this course.
06/11/2007
Comment: This was an incredibly informative and valuable program. The didactic and review portions of the corse were very well organized and well run. And we covered an enormous number of cases. The lab and work stations were available from 7:00 am to as late at night as we wanted to work so that we could gain as much experience aspossible. The instructors were then available during the regular course hours to answer questions and assist in undrstanding more complex issues. The instructors were all very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This was a superb program and I would recommend it to anyone, particularly if they are very motivated and not afraid to work hard.
06/10/2007
Comment: An extraordinary experience with well designed and delivered didactic and demonstration. Excellent realtime, hands on training on the workstations. I give this course my most excellent recommendation.
06/10/2007
Comment: Excellent course--great lectures and hand-on experience.
06/10/2007
Comment: The approach to the GE workstation was well taught from multiple perspectives, with each of the faculty contributing their own unique insights and opinions on how to get the most out of the images. The lab was always open, maximizing workstation opportunity (all students had their own workstation when I attended). There were multiple live cases every day. Upon completion, I felt comfortable with interpreting a wide variety of studies. This course was time well spent.
06/10/2007
Comment: This course is well organized and covers all the components needed to interpret CTA. I'm a cardiologist and will be reading at two hospitals with different equipment and feel comfortable with the software, and more importantly, the concepts. For comparison, I've also attended the SCCT course in Phoenix early 2006 and two different CD/DVD courses and this was an excellent course. CVMG April 2007
